Over the past decade, residents in municipalities across Canada, including Montreal, Thunder Bay, Winnipeg, Mississauga, Burlington, Toronto, Saskatoon, Edmonton and Calgary, have been affected by severe rainfall events resulting in hundreds of millions of dollars in insured and uninsured losses.
