ICLR’s Resilience Display Centres
ICLR’s Resilience Centres teach practical, cost-effective, consensus-based methods to become resilient to natural hazards. Using hands-on exhibits, displays, videos, interactive kiosks and other features, the Centres demonstrate resilience to insurance professionals, builders and code officials, homeowners, journalists, and others. Hazards currently profiled in the Centres include basement flooding/sewer backup, wildfire, extreme wind, earthquake and hail.
There are three Resilience Display Centres in Canada; one in Toronto, Ontario, one in London, Ontario and one in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
London Ontario
The Climate Resilience Centre is situated at Western University’s 50 acre Western Discovery Park, located adjacent to the University in the heart of London.
The Centre is available for use by ICLR member insurers for board meetings and AGMs, management offsites, and training sessions for staff and brokers. The Centre can also be made available for other groups. Additionally, exhibits that make-up the Centre can be borrowed for company and industry events.

Winnipeg Manitoba
The Climate Resilience Centre is located at 191 Broadway in the heart of downtown Winnipeg and was made possible through contributions from Wawanesa Insurance.
The Centre is available for training sessions for staff and brokers, building professionals, municipalities, community groups, and other groups. The exhibits that make-up the Centre can be borrowed for company and industry events.

Toronto Ontario
The Toronto Resilience Display Centre is currently located at 18 King St East, Toronto, a stone’s throw from the offices of many insurance, reinsurance, and reinsurance intermediaries and others.
The Centre is available for training sessions for staff and brokers, building professionals, municipalities, community groups, and others.

ICLR’s Climate Resilience Centre at Western University’s Discovery Park in London, Ontario teaches Canadians practical, cost-effective, consensus-based methods to become resilient to climate disasters. Using hands-on exhibits, displays, videos, interactive kiosks and other
features, the Centre demonstrates retrofit actions and building-code improvements. It builds awareness among insurance professionals, builders and code officials, homeowners, journalists, and other champions of climate adaptation. Hazards currently profiled in the Centre include basement flooding/sewer backup, wildfire, extreme wind and hail.
The Institute makes all or parts of Centre available for use by ICLR member insurers for board meetings, annual general meetings, management offsites, and training sessions for staff and brokers. The Centre can also be made available for other groups.
